boarding FAQs

Most FAQs are answered in on Boarding Policies page but here is are a few additional ones:

May we come see the facility before committing our canine kid to a boarding stay?

Absolutely!  In fact, we prefer that you and your canine kid do exactly that.  It will give you an understanding of how unique our operation is, to understand how we do things, and to get to know us; it will allow your dog(s) to become familiar with us and our environment, and to leave with you (which facilitates a level of comfort during an actual boarding stay).  And, it will give us a chance to get to know both you and your canine kid(s).

How is exercise time managed?

Exercise time is supervised by trained staff.  Dogs are evaluated by play style and only dogs of similar styles are off leash together at one time.  In other words, a ‘gentle-and-dainty’ would not be out with a ‘rough-and-tumble’.  If a dog has a unique play style, that dog would receive individual attention.

What do I need to bring for my dog’s stay?

We provide bowls and beds, or you may bring your own.  We prefer that you bring food for your dog, in order that diet remain constant during your absence.  However, if you prefer, we will provide our own food for an additional charge of $5 per meal.
