During the boarding stay, we provide canine kids with all the comforts of home as well as a safe, secure, fenced exercise area (with our own private agility course). This is a truly unique environment, combining the best features of in home pet sitting and professional group kennel boarding. By providing the best elements of both, a relaxing familiar home environment (your fur-kids stay in the home with me and my pets) as well as companionship and exercise, you can be sure that your canine kids will be just fine while you need to be away from them. Come visit us and see for yourself!
In order to achieve this low-stress environment for our boarding clients, we are a small operation. As such we encourage you to make your plans early to ensure space will be available.
We like to get to know each new owner and dog. To that end, we do require an initial consultation at our facility; there is no fee for this consultation. The purpose of this meeting is to provide us with information about you and your dog, as well as to provide you and your dog with information about us. It will give you an understanding of how unique our operation is, to understand how we do things, and to get to know us. It will allow your dog(s) to become familiar with us and our environment, and the opportunity for your dog(s) to leave with you (which facilitates a level of comfort during an actual boarding stay). For us, this meeting allows us to ensure that your dog has a suitable temperament for a stay with us, that he/she is people and dog friendly, that he/she will allow basic handling (paws, ears, mouth, and handling of body), understanding of his/her feeding routine/schedule, if there are any issues such as separation anxiety or resource guarding or any behavioral triggers of which we should be aware.
We recognize that your furkids are not the only ones who may suffer anxiety by being separated from their people, the owners feel that separation, too. In an effort to ease the concern of owners over the dogs whom they’ve entrusted to our care, we provide daily updates and photos. We hope that these communications will reassure owners that their furkids are doing well. And, owners are welcome to contact us at any time for an update.
Our overnight rate is $35 per night for one dog; each additional dog in the same family is $20 per night. Our daycare rate is $25. We do not charge extra fees for yardtime, playtime, cuddletime, potty breaks, etc.
